Advance Search Tips and Tricks
Here are some search syntax basics and advanced tricks for http://www.google.com/. you might know most of these, but if you spot a new one, it may come in handy in future searches. So best of Luck and find the best one for you to make your search handy and fruitful for you
   
1.
The best way to begin searching harder with Google is by clicking the Advanced Search link i.e. http://www.google.com/advanced_search

This lets you search for exact phrases, "all these words", or one of the specified keywords by entering search terms into the appropriate box.

You can also define how many results you want on the page, what language and what file type you're looking for, all with menus.

Advanced Search allows you type in a Top Level Domain (like .com, .net, .co, .uk) in the "Search within site of domain" box to restrict results. It means you can get results from those sites wihich you put in advance search tab.

Google's main search invisibly combines search terms with the Boolean construct "AND". When you enter google urdu – it looks for google AND urdu. So take care while searching and keep this in mind.

So to make Google search for google or urdu, just type google OR urdu.

Instead of OR you can type the | symbol, like this: google | urdu

Boolean connectors like AND and OR are case sensitive. They must be upper case.

Search for a specific term, then one keyword OR another by grouping them with parentheses, like this: google (urdu OR pashto)
